Privacy Notice (KVKK)

In short: Our demo request form collects only your name, work email and number of cameras. We use them solely to respond to your request; we don’t sell them or share them for advertising. This website uses no cookies. For any request regarding your data, email info@vigilens.online.
This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, to explain how personal data is processed through the vigilens.online website (the “Site”) and the communications initiated through it.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by VigiLens (“VigiLens”, “we”, “us”) as the data controller.

2. Personal data we process, purposes and legal grounds
We process only the data listed below, limited and proportionate to the stated purposes. We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric data) through the Site; please do not share such data in forms or emails.

We do not rely on your explicit consent for these activities, because each is based on a legal ground other than consent under the KVKK. We do not send you promotional or marketing messages beyond your request; if we ever plan to, we will obtain your separate approval as required by Turkish Law No. 6563 and related regulations.
3. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated means, when you fill in the demo request form on the Site, send us an email, or visit the Site (through server and security logs).
4. Transfers of personal data
We do not sell or rent your personal data or share it with third parties for advertising. Your data may be transferred only to the recipients below, and only as needed for the purposes described above:
- Our technical service providers (data processors): Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting, content delivery, security and email routing; Google LLC for the email inbox; and Resend for email delivery. These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Competent public authorities and courts: only when they are legally authorized and make a request, and only to the extent required by law.
- Our legal and financial advisors: where necessary to establish or protect a right, under a duty of confidentiality.
International transfers
The servers of the technical service providers listed above may be located outside Türkiye (in the European Union, the United States and across the providers’ global infrastructure). Your personal data is therefore transferred abroad so that the Site can operate and your request can reach us. These transfers are carried out in accordance with the procedures and safeguards set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
5. Retention periods
- Demo requests and correspondence: up to 2 years from our last contact with you. If we enter into a contract, for the term of the contract and the applicable statutory limitation periods.
- Security and server logs: generally no longer than 30 days, or until the investigation is complete if a security incident needs to be examined.
- Submissions identified as bots: not stored; they are rejected without being recorded.
Data whose retention period has expired, or whose purpose no longer applies, is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data, at the latest during our six-monthly periodic reviews.
6. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
By applying to us as the data controller, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- request information about the processing if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request deletion or destruction of the data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that the actions taken under (d) and (e) be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems,
- claim compensation for damages suffered as a result of unlawful processing.
7. How to submit a request
In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your request from the email address you gave us in the demo request form to info@vigilens.online with the subject line “KVKK Request”. If you wish to apply with a secure electronic signature or registered electronic mail (KEP), simply write to the same address and we will send you the necessary contact details.
Your request must include:
- your full name and, for written applications, your signature;
- your Turkish ID number if you are a Turkish citizen, or your nationality and passport/ID number if you are a foreign national;
- your residential or business address, or email address, for notification;
- the subject of your request and any relevant information and documents.
To prevent your data from falling into the wrong hands, we may ask for additional information to verify the applicant’s identity. We will conclude your request as soon as possible depending on its nature and within 30 days at the latest, free of charge. If the action requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
If your request is rejected, if you find our response insufficient, or if we fail to respond in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning of our response, and in any case within 60 days of your application.
8. Changes
We may update this notice to reflect changes in the law or in our data processing activities. The current version is always published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top shows when it took effect.
9. Language
This notice is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency, the Turkish version (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni) prevails.
